【题记】威廉-华兹华斯（William Wordsworth1770-1850）是英国浪漫主义诗人，本诗属于民谣叙事诗中的挽歌类型。全诗为三节共12行，隔行押韵，即 ：ABAB CDCD EFEF。 译诗亦与原诗的韵式一致。

罕至人踪栖小径，
荒寒寂寞鸽泉旁，
无人赞许茕茕影，
鲜有机缘爱流芳。

青苔石伴紫罗兰，
若隐若存半遮面，
浩瀚苍穹倍孤单，
银河唯一星光溅。

露西生前有谁知，
去留存殁寂无闻，
哀乎静睡坟茔里，
迥异于吾格外珍。

She dwelt among the untrodden ways
Beside the springs of Dove;
A maid whom there were none to praise,
And very few to love:

A violet by a mossy stone,
Half hidden from the eye!
---Fair as a star, when only one

She lived unknown, and few could know
When Lucy ceased to be;
But she is in her grave, and oh,
The difference to me!
